The initiative aims to encourage more women to seek out opportunities which will redress the current gender imbalance that exists in key decision making roles and positions of influence across all sectors of the Australian Screen Industry.
In partnership with the Natalie Miller Fellowship, Film Victoria is offering five Victorian women who are actively working in the Australian Screen Industry up to $10,000 to undertake targeted professional skills development that will help them achieve their leadership aspirations and acquire the business skills and expertise to confidently pursue leadership prospects.
The 25 February information session included an introduction by Sue Maslin, President, Natalie Miller Foundation, and a panel discussion with Jenni Tosi, CEO, Film Victoria, Andrea Denholm, Principal, Princess Pictures and Jo Bladen, General Manager of Studios, The Walt Disney Company Australia & NZ who shared their insights and anecdotes about working in the Victorian screen industry.
Those who weren't able to attend the Information session can watch this online.
Applications are open until 26 April.
