Uranium - Twisting the Dragon's Tail is a stunning Australian-made three-part documentary series exploring the incredible story of uranium, from its creation in an exploding star to its deployment in nuclear weapons, nuclear power and nuclear medicine.
It’s a journey across nine countries and more than a century of stories, with physicist and YouTube phenomenon Dr Derek Muller revealing the untold story of the most wondrous and terrifying rock on Earth. It’s part science, part history and all epic adventure.
Written and directed by acclaimed documentary film-maker Wain Fimeri and produced by Emmy Award-winning Australian television science filmmaker Sonya Pemberton, the series was created by science specialists Genepool Productions who also brought us Jabbed – Love, Fear and Vaccines.
