The new six-part drama series The Beautiful Lie is a story about love in all its forms. Familial love, fraternal love, self-sacrificial saintly love, and at its centre, passionate, erotic love. Love so powerful that Anna risks all in its pursuit and is finally destroyed by it.
But it's not a story of gloom, a deeper love survives and prevails.
The production boasts an outstanding line-up of stars including Sarah Snook, Rodger Corser, Sophie Lowe, Benedict Samuel, Gina Riley, Celia Pacquola and Dan Wyllie. Catherine McClements, Alexander England, Daniel Henshall and Robert Menzies also feature.
