VICSCREEN SECURES ADDITIONAL GLOBAL GAMES PUBLISHERS TO PLAY NOW MELBOURNE

Melbourne International Games Week kicks off next week, with Thursday 5 October marking the official opening of Play Now Melbourne – the inaugural international games market which is set to become the pre-eminent trade gateway to the world of Australian games. 

Some of the hottest digital game developers from across Australia will be delivering their original pitches to leading international publishers, platform holders and investors, with an impressive suite of major players joining the program. 

Sony PlayStation, Devolver Digital, Massive Monster, Fellow Traveller, Ultra Players, Team 17, Raw Fury, Akupara Games and Shueisha Games have now joined Meta, Landfall Games and Kepler Interactive to search for the next big games to come out of Australia. 

The market will be held at Melbourne’s iconic State Library of Victoria, with a total of 45 projects set to showcased by game developers from across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia showcasing the creativity and innovation that Australian games are renowned for.
