The 2015 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) featured a two week program of film, fashion and interactive events celebrating the talents and traditions of India while exploring and celebrating the theme of “equality”. IFFM was delighted to welcome Festival Ambassador, Vidya Balan, back to Melbourne for what proved to be another spectacular and enjoyable event.
Festival favourites such as the interactive master classes, IFFM Awards Night, Western Union Short Film competition and the Telstra Bollywood Dance Competition returned to the program, and for the first time, the festival incorporated Indian Independence Day celebrations, held at Federation Square on 15 August.
