His innate ability to introduce new faces to the screen and bring together diverse talent has earned rave reviews and led to multiple award-winning performances and career-defining roles. With over two decades in the industry, some of his most acclaimed ensemble casts include Australia’s favourite eccentric family, the Proudmans, on Network Ten’s smash-hit show OFFSPRING; the original cast for Nine Network’s multi-award winning UNDERBELLY series and the unforgettable heart-wrenching women on Foxtel’s WENTWORTH - a global phenomenon having screened in over 150 territories, Nathan has cast 100 episodes from its launch in 2013. Nathan has recently completed work on THE NEWSREADER for ABC and Werner Film Productions starring Anna Torv and Sam Reid, SURVIVING SUMMER (Netflix) starring Sky Katz and ALL MY FRIENDS ARE RACIST (Hoodlum) featuring Leah Purcell and introducing emerging Indigenous actors Davey Thompson and Tuuli Narkle in lead roles. Nathan has served on the Executive Committee of the Casting Guild of Australia since 2018, has been a member of the Casting Society of America since 2013 and holds a strong association with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
