Career Summary
My name is Rukmal Nirosh. I completed my Bachelor’s in Film and Television at Swinburne University. Currently, I am in the second year at RMIT studying for my Master’s in Media.
My career began in Sri Lanka, as an actor, and then moving on to video and film editing and directing. I have edited feature films, television series, documentaries, television commercials and music videos. Moreover, I have directed two television series for Sri Lankan national television channels, including music videos and television commercials. Over the Shoulder is a television talk show-style programme that I edited and directed.
My next target is to make a feature film, and I am working on a script these days. Thank you.

Special and Technical Skills
As an editor, I have strong knowledge of editing software, such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere and I am competent in Final Cut X. Creativity, great patience, eye for details, and time management, are few of my strengths. I am a good team player as well as I am capable of working without supervision.
