Career Summary

Jason is a writer-director of Greek-Cypriot and Austrian/Slovenian descent who works across film, television and short-form content. A graduate of VCA directing and RMIT screenwriting, his short films have screened at Academy-accredited festivals worldwide. Jason is currently co-creator-writer-director of short-form comedy series ‘Arguments with My Mum’ for Different Films and in 2020, along with writing partner Tanya Farley, was a finalist in the American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest for their feature ‘A Citizen’ which in 2019 also made The Aussie List, an initiative of The Black List, Warner Bros Pictures and Veerhuis Pictures. As a director, Jason undertook a director’s placement on AMC/Sony series ‘Preacher’ in 2019 and in 2016 he was director’s attachment to David Caesar on feature ‘Nowhere Boys: Book of Shadows’. Jason was a writer and script editor on series four of NBCU/Matchbox series ‘Nowhere Boys’ and has been a finalist and shortlisted for three Sundance Screenwriters Labs.
