Sally has several years of experience working across documentary film and television in Australia and the UK, as well as producing a number of narrative short films and music videos that have screened at several film festivals both domestically and internationally.
In 2015, Sally Storey teamed up with fellow VCA graduate Anna Kojevnikov to form Storey Kids. Over the past two years, they’ve produced their debut feature film, That’s Not Me, and the Screen Australia Hot Shots funded short A Terrible Beauty. Storey Kids were awarded funding through the Screen Australia Gender Matters: Brilliant Stories initiative to develop feature Touching By Underground Wires with writer/director Sarah-Jane Woulahan. In 2017, Storey Kids were provided business growth support under Film Victoria initiative Business Matters.
Sally is an avid researcher of the Australian and global film and television industries with a keen interest in working toward a more inclusive and sustainable industry.
