VicScreen is the Victorian Government’s creative and economic screen development agency. Behind the scenes, supporting professionals, infrastructure, projects and events – elevating Victoria as a global screen destination.
We're looking for a Production Support and Engagement Coordinator to join us in this ongoing role. As the backbone of VicScreen's location and productions services offering, you'll work closely with the Head of Incentives and Production Support, leading two direct reports as part of a dynamic team.
A critical thinker with an eye for detail, you can identify the good, the bad and the maybe-one-day shoot locations around Victoria, assessing their potential as important backdrops for productions of every scale.
You'll liaise with stakeholders in the community, government departments and councils to secure location permits, improve the experience for productions shooting right here in Victoria, and implement screen industry policy.
In this position, you'll get to play a leading role in solidifying Victoria as film-friendly destination in the global screen ecosystem.

You have a passion for analysing a situation and striving to deliver practical solutions which is complemented by your supreme organisational skills. No stranger to negotiation, you have experience working with stakeholders to find solutions that ensure productions run smoothly.

We're looking for an Accountant to join us for the ride in this ongoing role. VicScreen's Accountant is responsible for accurate recording, processing and reconciling every dollar in and out in our day-to-day business activities. You'll report to the Senior Manager, Finance and Governance and provide support with reporting, compliance and budgets. You'll also be responsible for processing payroll for the VicScreen team and providing administrative support for our Audit and Risk Committee.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Organise, diligent and have lightening focus for detail, you can navigate complexity via the bulletproof systems you implement. You'll have an accounting background which is paired with your experience within payroll functions. This has equipped you with critical reporting skills and legislative policy knowledge. Compliance and administration are at the forefront of your mind as you approach daily tasks to ensure accuracy in your work. Not only are you conceptually and analytically minded, you also have the ability to clearly convey information, both verbally and written.
